Turn Around Agenda (TAG) is an auxiliary of the Antioch Baptist Church that focuses on improving resilience among youths and the community at large by offering skill training, exposure to life-changing innovations and educational opportunities.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

With a sense of urgency, the Organization seek to pursue the following:

  • To mobilize resources and establish educational opportunities for vulnerable young people.
  • To facilitate the rehabilitation of young people through religious education, sports, skills training, and the arts.
  • To initiate and/or support community-led initiatives with focus on using environmentally sustainable technologies to enhance development.
  • To eradicate poverty and abuse among families by providing safe housing and access to services including counseling, financial assistance, training, and education to facilitate rehabilitation.
  • To collaborate and partner with international and local organizations to organize and share resources and frameworks on development issues.

Each year TAG provides financial support to several families to assist in providing housing opportunities and domestic commitments.  We provide scholarships and educational opportunities for young people through our annual TAG Young Men Conference.  Through seminars, conferences and short-term training sessions young people develop practical life and social skills.

You can make a gift and support the TAG.  When you choose to give, you may not realize that donating will do more than just help this cause, giving can also provide you with many personal benefits such as a feeling of gratitude to be able to assist those who are less fortunate.

Every penny counts therefore you can make an impact with the smallest contribution.  However, you do not have to donate money to make a difference. Here are some imaginative ways for you to support the TAG—provide program ideas, volunteer your time to work on projects, become an Ambassador for the program.
